Introducing Julie Ranae!

Hi friends. Who doesn't know Julie Ranae?! I don't think we'll be seeing any hands raised. I'm very grateful and honored to announce Julie as the new Design Team Coordinator and Social Media for StopAndScrap.com. This is very big and exciting news for us, and all of us on the design team, as well as Larry and Maria, are eagerly awaiting to see what direction she takes the store in.

Julie Ranae comes from The Forest City of Rockford, Illinois. She has been married to her British-import husband Paul for 22 years and is the mother of two children and Mema to four grandsons.
Her professional background in retail marketing & consulting eventually led into her opening the largest rubber stamp and paper-crafting store in Illinois.  She has gone on to organize paper-crafting events and workshop and retreat weekends which have drawn crafters from all over the world
In June 2009, she began a new journey with her creative blog Julie’s Open Window.  It quickly became an outlet for her passion of creative writing and a place to share her work.  Celebrating its 3-year ‘blogaversary’, she is honored that over 1000 people have become followers and participate in a variety of blog hops, challenges and fun when they visit.

She is the creator of the very popular weekly color challenge, The Play Date CafĂ© & co-creator of the Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS-ual Fridays . She is also the Design Team Coordinator for The Twinery & The Craft’s Meow and is a designer for EAD Designs.  Her work in the rubber stamping industry has been featured in a variety of trade publications and her designs have been featured in Scrapbook News & Review, Paper Craft Planet, CARDS and Moxie Fab World.
She is super excited to be coming aboard at StopandScrap.com as
Design Team & Social Media Coordinator

Even though I've only been on board for a short time, I am stepping down due to a designing opportunity that one just doesn't say "no" to. I would like to thank everybody for their confidence in me but hey, look who's coming on board!! I honestly did not or would not consider anybody else for the job. Thank you Julie! Please give her a very warm welcome :)
